Solo Ranked Climbing Advice

Taking in mind I am only a Gold player I am not saying that this is the ultimate way to climb the ranked ladder but because I am a Gold player I kind of understand the Bronze and Silver struggle, unlike Platinum and Diamond I can't just say be a better player all together because we in Gold struggle with that, here are some advices that are not mechanically difficult but more of a playstyle that might prove helpful.

Split push, this can be done in any lane (yes any lane), some champions have an easier time with it than others, I would say that for top you want tank champions with zzrot portal or a bruiser strong 1 v 1 like fiora or tryndamere, for jungle you want the same as top or Udyr who excels at this, mid lane try lich bane champions, zzrot portal is the go to on split push item but as a support you can also buy a banner of command and with adc any work but tristana really excels at it.

Dominate lane dominate game, top lane is one of the best for this since it is your very own isolated island, try to get a strong 2 v 1 champion since you will most likely be fighting the top laner and the jungler, Pantheon, Tryndamere, Graves, Quinn if done right you will be able to just swoop and take the game under your wing.

Help other lanes, yeah one way to go is to make it your very own solo game but the other is to play it the way it is supposed to be played, as a team, roam and help others, if possible give the kill to them let them scale and use this to your advantage, you can't 1 v 5 in end game so make it a 5 v 5.

Tank Ekko Top

So yesterday I was playing ranked with a few friends and suddenly a miracle happened, in this patch Ekko has been permanently banned across most divisions because of his lane dominance as well as his Mid to Late game power, I was able to first pick Ekko into a Trundle, one of the kings of top lane and throughout the whole game dominated not only Trundle but the jungler and Mid laner as well taking the game into an easy win.

The only thing keeping us from winning though was their Vayne who was did not take the role of hyper carry lightly, towards the final fight Vayne got caught but managed to escape, with her front line being as tanky as they were and the tower covering her from any dive from our team I was able to use my secondary role of assassin to good use by flashing with Phase Dive on allowing me to burst Vayne to zero health and win the fight and the game.

Ekko is broken, play him while you can.

Friends and Rank

When I was in silver I had many friends from silver IV to silver I and honestly I thought they were pretty good, good mechanics and I believed they often made the right choice which was why I was so confused when they were still in silver after playing so much.

Once I hit Gold IV I finally started seeing the mistakes they made and how toxic they became when you tried explaining to them what it was they were doing wrong, I was showered with a lot of

"You are not as aggro as you used to be." 

or

"Where is that hyper carry that would dive in with the tanks." 

Well what happened was diving with the tanks is not my job and I am not aggro because I understand to respect now, always be cautious in the rift when you want to go for an aggro play.

Rabbit Rain here, Gold IV scrub League of Legends player and this is the blog of my adventures.
Champions I play, runes and masteries and builds I like to play with.

I am a top lane player main with my secondary role being mid, I am a carry, high burst player who loves watching life bars disappear.
Get me fed and I will make sure the enemy gets no mercy and no chance to recover.
